Although Hong Kong continues as a conduit for datacentre activity, expansion and new build is occurring across China which will result in space more than doubling by 2015 on conservative estimates.
New entrants are already building new facilities and beginning to establish market share particularly in the Shanghai area. There is also evidence that cloud services are evolving, and will increasingly play an important role in the datacentre sector.
